My love for the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation

I want to dedicate this blog post to my all time favourite foundation. I have been absolutely loving this foundation for over a year now and there are so many amazing things which I can say about it. This foundation people is the one and only Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation! Now let's get into why I love this foundation so much.

1. This foundation is not fragranced nor does it have any SPF. A lot of people will think of this as a bad factor but for me I think its great! Yes, I do have to add a layer of SPF under this foundation but that's fine because having sensitive skin, a foundation with too much fragrance and SPF can sometimes be too harsh for me. A bonus of having no SPF is that you can get the perfect pictures in the evenings where flash photography is used. Winning!

2. The coverage of this foundation varies with the different techniques used to apply it. You can use your fingertips to apply this foundation to get the perfect 'no makeup makeup look' for a brunch date or go full on and layer the foundation using a brush or beauty blender and you'll be made up with a flawless full coverage finish for the evenings.

3. Shade range of this foundation is pretty impressive as it comes in 21 different shade. I am in the shade 6.25 which is the perfect the for me.

4. Finally the pump of this foundation is faultless as it dispenses out the right amount of foundation needed to cover your whole face.

This foundation has been formulated with a mirco-fit technology to give it a weightless and flawless finish, which allows your skin to breathe and give a great skin like finish.
I find that this foundation is really good for someone like myself as I have normal to dry skin. I say this because it does not cling on to dry patches and leaves you with a gorgeous dewy glowy finish. I decided to give this foundation a go after using the Chanel Perfection Lumière for so long, which is also a great foundation but I felt like I needed a more dewy foundation for the winter days.
The Luminous Silk is not the cheapest of foundations as it retails for around £40 in Selfridges! But you can always ask for a colour match and get a sample of the foundation to trial and test it for a few days just to see whether you will love it as much as I do.

What are your thoughts on this foundation?
