The Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipsticks: Review

The beautiful and sensational Huda Kattan, as we all know has launched liquid lipsticks. The Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipsticks are not dry like the usual liquid lipsticks on the market, rather they are super hydrating. Most matte lipsticks can be drying and heavy however, Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipsticks are hydrating and super light as if you are not wearing anything on your lips. There full size lipstick as well recently launched minis which are so cute. I have a few colours from her collection and decided to do a review on them.  Hope you guys enjoy!

I adore the packaging of the lipsticks! There has been great are taken into the design and whole packaging of the product. They are packaged in a gorgeous, cute box with the design of Huda's lips showing the shade of the lipstick, which appears as if it is holding the lipstick. I love the idea of the lips showing the shade of the lipstick, it looks super sleek and polished. There is also a plastic transparent cover on top with the logo to hold the lipstick in place. The lipstick itself is packaged in a frosted glass tube with a black lid. The applicator is the typical applicator you would find in a liquid lipstick. The minis however come in a black square box with four mini liquid lipsticks from Huda's collection. There are four editions; the brown edition, the nude edition, the pink edition and the red edition.

I own one full size shade, Icon and also the cute minis in the nude edition which include the shades, Venus, Bombshell, Trendsetter and Flirt. I was gifted all the lipsticks on either my birthday or wedding anniversary. The full size lipstick are on the market for £18 and the minis are on the market for £33 on Cultbeauty who always deliver their products on time within a few days.

The formula of these lipsticks are definitely unique and different to any other liquid lipstick. It is really nice and thin but definitely mosturising and does not feel matte on the lips at all. The lipstick does take a while to dry to a matte formula. I have noticed slight transfer whilst I am eating or drinking but not too much. I noticed once I wore Icon to on a long journey the lipstick did not budge for a good number of hours until I started eating, I had to retouch a little on the middle of my lips. The lipsticks have a coconuty tropical scent which is pretty unnoticeable once you apply the lipstick on to the lips. There are 16 shades ranging from nudes, pinks, reds and browns so there is literally a shade for everyone and every occasion.

Overall the Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipsticks are my fave liquid lipsticks at the moment. They are really comfortable to wear to the point where you actually forget you are wearing a matte liquid lipstick. The fact that you have to retouch after eating is fine because other than that the lipstick will not budge! If you love liquid lipsticks then you should definitely give these a try!
